Obituary

Earl Robinson Jr., 66, departed this life on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Robinson and Mary Robinson; sister, Mary King; and brothers, Frank Brown and Gary Robinson. He was born on Monday, September 12, 1955, in Baltimore, MD.

Earl resided in Durham, NC. He was a truck driver and trainer who captured lots of photographs, visited many antique shows, and collected souvenirs while travelling through various states.  Earl often raised house plants in his truck and after they grew to a certain size, he would bring them to the house and start a new plant in his truck. 

Never meeting a stranger, Earl enjoyed helping others, especially children. He cherished his family and was a devoted husband, father, and brother. Earl will be remembered for his sweet disposition, willpower, and strength. His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Loretta Robinson; children, Lakieta Sanders (Albert) and Natavien Beck; grandson, Natavien Beck Jr.; brother, Stephen Robinson (Hope); and niece, Monica Williams (Anthony).

A celebration of Earl’s life will be scheduled for July 23, 2022, in Raleigh, NC."
