KATHERINE L. LASSEIGNE CRAYTON GRAHAM

Another angel has received her wings. Katherine Lorraine Lasseigne Crayton, born at home on Whitney Avenue in Algiers, LA, on March 3, 1935, promoted to Heaven on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at the age of 88 passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center with her loving husband by her side.  She is the beloved wife of 65 years to Billy French Crayton.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and a homemaker.  She is the daughter of the late Bernice Marie Rodriguez and Harvey Joseph Lasseigne, Sr.  Loving mother of Robby Crayton (NC) and Ricky Crayton of Arizona.  Loving Grandmother of Lauren Crayton Coolie (Sheldon) and Great Grandmother of Quinten Coolie.  Sister of Rose Nance and John Lassiegne, and the late Harvey Lassiegne, Jr., the late Valeria Shears, and the late Edward J. Lassiegne.  Katherine is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

   Interment will be held privately in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Thibodaux, LA at a later date.
