    Joy Vela says:
One of my fondest memories of Lea Ann is when her mom (Verna), Lea Ann and I lived together in 1966. She turned 2 years old that year and she also lost her daddy. She would come to my bedside in the morning and in her sweet little voice tell me she was hungry and wanted som cereal. How could I resist that little voice and that beautiful little face. She and I ate breakfast together many mornings. The 3 of us also ate at Hal’s Burgers. Lea Ann liked their coke and “fwies”. She left us too early, but now she will be with other family and friends.
