Miguel Diaz Barrera

Miguel Díaz Barrera, de 72 años, falleció en paz el jueves 15 de septiembre de 2022 en la casa de su hija Sara rodeado de familiares y seres queridos.

Nació el 5 de diciembre de 1949 en El Zapotal, Guerrero; hijo de Ignacio Barrera y Sara Díaz. Miguel fue un devoto esposo, padre, bisabuelo, tío, primo y un querido amigo de muchos. Estaba casado con Paula Cervantes y más tarde con Terry Bell. Los nietos de Terry, Andrew, Corey y Dylan, vieron a Miguel como su propio abuelo.

Miguel tenía pasión por el paisajismo, la construcción y la reconstrucción de automóviles. Podía arreglar casi cualquier cosa con un tubo de silicona y le encantaba ayudar a los demás siempre que podía. Le gustaba pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos y, en especial, apreciaba pasar tiempo con sus nietos y bisnietos. Sus seres queridos lamentan profundamente su pérdida.

Se llevará a cabo una reunión de familiares y amigos de 4:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m. el martes 20 de septiembre de 2022 en Piedmont Cremation & Funeral Service en Graham, NC.

Miguel Diaz Barrera, 72, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 15th, 2022 at his daughter’s home surrounded by family and loved ones.

He was born in December 5th, 1949 in El Zapotal, Guerrero; the son of Ignacio Barrera and Sara Diaz. Miguel was a devoted husband, father, great grandfather, uncle, cousin, and a beloved friend to many. He was married to Paula Cervantes and later in life Terry Bell. Terry’s grandchildren Andrew, Corey, and Dylan saw Miguel as their own grandfather.

Miguel had a passion for landscaping, building, and rebuilding cars. He could fix almost anything with a tube of silicone and he loved to help others whenever he could. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and especially cherished spending time with his grandchildren & great grandchildren. His loved ones are deeply mourning his loss.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00PM on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Piedmont Cremation & Funeral Service in Graham, NC.
