Obituary

Patricia Barrett passed away on January 13, 2022 at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She was born on November 19, 1937 to Elick Burris and Marilla Kate Shippes. Her favorite past time was spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and playing bingo. She was a loving person that if anyone who knew her needed a meal or a place to stay, all you had to do was ask. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed. She is survived by children Pete (Henri) England, Charles Lambert, Jr, James (Lynn) Lambert, Kenneth Lamert, Linda (Roger) and Michele (Calvin) Miles, 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, sisters Gail Burriss and Doris (Neal) Whitesel. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Douglas Barrett, daughter Karen Allard, son Thomas Lambert, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Piedmont Cremation & Funeral Service of Graham, NC.
