Patricia “Pat” Solomon Dawkins went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the Hospice Home of Alamance County. She was born in Alamance County and the daughter of the late Margaret and Weldon Solomon and was the loving and devoted wife of Barney Dawkins of the home. They celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on January 1, 2022.
Pat was a member of True Light Baptist Church of Gibsonville. She worked for Kayser Roth on Main Street, Burlington for over 20 years and retired from Pass & Seymour in 2009. She graduated from both Walter Williams High School and Alamance Community College with an Associates Degree in Medical Office Administration. Her sweet smile for everyone she met will always be remembered and cherished and missed by all who knew and loved her.
Other than her husband, she is survived by her 3 daughters; Ann Davis (Brad Allen), Tracey Dawkins (Ziggy Zimmerman), Janie Martin (Ricky Neathery), 2 stepchildren; Beverly (Kenny) Blaylock and Steve (Liz) Dawkins.
Grandchildren: Adam & Kaysi Davis, Christopher & Emilee Allen, Trevor (Krystal) & Ashley Burke, Courtney & Joshua Martin, Jeffrey (Tammy) Hutchins, Lance (Bekah) Dawkins & Emily Neathery.
Great Grandchildren: Trayvin Cheek, Tatum Burke, Maggie Brooks & Cheyanne Hutchins.
Brother and Sister In Love: Mike and Sheila Solomon
Nieces: Lauren (Chad) Kiser, Kelli (Ryan) Holt, Susan Solomon (Chris) Lippincott, Debbie (Wade) Solomon, Sheryl (Herb) Crimes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Tommy & Sonny Solomon, niece Sandy Edgley and nephew Ricky Eastwood.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 1:30 pm at True Light Baptist Church in Gibsonville, NC by the pastor Tommy Marley. The family will receive visitors from 12:00 to 1:00 prior to the service at the church.
The family would like to thank every nurse at the Hospice Home of Alamance County for all the love, kindnesses and kisses they gave to all of us and for taking such good care of her during her last months. We will always love you all.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice Home of Alamance County or True Light Baptist Church of Gibsonville, NC.
