On Saturday, March 13, 2021, Ryan Paul May, beloved son, brother and father succumbed to a progressive and deadly disease known as addiction.
Born November 27th, 1987 to Vincent & Shelby May. Ryan was the oldest by 1 minute of a set of identical twin boys.
Ryan is survived by his daughter Ellie Nicole Congleton, his mother Shelby Hamlett, older sister Amie Jones and his identical twin brother Drew May.
He is preceded in death by his father Vincent May and step-father Charles (Chuck) Hamlett.
His relationship with his twin was one like no other.
Ryan loved his daughter Ellie more than anything. Due to his addiction, he was unable to be the father he wanted to be and that Ellie deserved.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Ryan, Friday, April 17th, 2021 at his mother’s home 1031 S. Main Street Burlington from 4-7 pm. All are welcome to come.
