Obituary

Wanda Catherine Hudgins was a caring mother, GranGran, sister and friend. She left this world at the age 68 surrounded by family and loved ones. Cat was born to Crafton and Pearl Dawkins on October 14th, 1953. She loved to cook, spend time with family and entertain friends. Cat was proceeded in death by her husband Jack Hudgins, parents Crafton and Pearl Dawkins, and brother Tony and Steve Dawkins. Cathy is survived by her children Ernie (Cindy) and Eddie (Jill) Raymond; grandchildren Perrin, Micheal, Isaiah, Tobias, and Lizbeth; brothers Jim (Anita) and Dan (Kim) Dawkins, and sister Penny Reynolds; along with many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Burlington Christian Church, Trail Four, Burlington, NC., at 2:00 in the afternoon on Monday, April 11th, 2022. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Hospice of Alamance County. Her sons will receive family and friends at Eddie Raymond’s home after the service.
