William David McVey, 29, passed away on Tuesday, November 9th, 2021. Will was multifaceted and held a wide range of interests. An avid reader and deep thinker, he possessed an insatiable appetite for knowledge. Will was multilingual and loved learning new languages as a gateway to new cultures. Will loved to travel, meet new people, and sample foreign cuisine to broaden his global perspective. Always a proponent of physical fitness, Will enjoyed cycling and practicing judo at Bushido Judo School of Burlington, NC, where he earned his brown belt. Judo was a convergence of Will's interests that engaged him on multiple levels. Will was enamored with animals of all shapes and sizes his entire life. He kept a variety of pets throughout the years, but his chiweenie, Lolly, was his constant companion from whom he was inseparable.
